Live mail on windows 7 to outlook on windows 10

They are normally located in C:\Users\<userlogin>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail, but you can move the default location. You can copy them to Windows 10 laptop. Then use Import EML to Outlook utility to import them.

Destination folder can't be changed

Press right mouse button the account folder, select Data File properties, point to Home page tab, and de-select 'Show home page by default for this folder' option. Press Ok button. Then point to this folder and delete messages. You can turn the option back if you need ToDo page.

Destination folder can't be changed

The utility can't be run without selection of the destination folder. If you select the account only then the massages will be in this root folder.

You can do the following in Outlook:
- create a new folder with Contacts type in Outlook
- go to File -> Open -> Open Outlook data file -> select an old PST file on the disk (this will open it in Outlook)
- find there Contacts folder and copy contacts to created folder. You can do it via copy-paste
- press right mouse key on the old PST file and select close to detach it from the Outlook
- repeat steps for each old PST
- copy contacts from current PST
- remove duplicates in the folder using Remove Duplicate Contacts utility
- you can also try to remove unused contact using Remove Unused Outlook Contacts utility
- delete some contacts manually if needed
- If you are satisfied with the result, delete contacts from your current contact folder and copy from this folder to it.

Our utilities are for Outlook. If you have Hotmail.com and Gmail mailboxes connected to Outlook then you can use our utilities. Outlook store autocomplete email addresses in two places. Local nk2 files and hidden contacts folder in a mailbox.

You can use Auto-Complete Files Report and Auto-Complete Lists Report utilities to find your contacts.
You can use Export Auto-Complete Lists to export them from a store to a file.
Then you can use Import Auto-Complete List to import them to a new account.

Should I Convert to PST or Import from EML

Both utilities will retain all images, HTML formatting, attachments, and headers. “Import EML to Outlook” allows to import directly to connected Office 365 account. “Retains the original folder structure” option is available in the Advanced version of the both utilities only.

The best way to find new emails is to run Advanced version of Remove Duplicate emails utility.

You need to do the following:
- make copy both both PST files
- connect them to Outlook
- open the utility
- press configure button and select both PST files
- select to Delete duplicates permanently
- select to Search duplicates across folders
- select the original PST file as High priority folder
- run the utility.

The utility will delete all items that present in the High priority PST file from another one. This way this PST file will have only new emails in it after the comparision.
